My mother’s life was full of complex and beautiful teachings and before her passing, I realized that her grandchildren needed the ability to learn who this inspirational woman was really about.
Family photos could never teach her true wisdom and what she lived for. As her grandchildren grew older and farther apart, I knew I had to capture her legacy for future generations of our family to keep her lessons and wisdom alive.
I built My Telling Tale with the vision of helping families preserve the true essence of their loved one’s triumphs and lessons.

Lauren is an an artist whose work represents the pulse of today’s millennial Black esthetic, inspired by cultural pop icons & events and Hip-Hop music. She discovered her passion for production in 2013, and ever since she has work her magic for productions at Paramount pictures, BET, Leo Burnett and beyond. She started at My Telling Tale to help democratize the ability for great stories to find a new avenue to be created and shared with humanity.
